Sonshine Vins Petal Rouge 2021 750ml

Organic. 50% Grolleau, 50% Muscat Rouge. 'Petal' is a négociant bottling, a Loire-Alsace blend. The Grolleau was purchased from grower Toby Bainbridge in Anjou; it was vinified as a red wine, with six days' maceration on whole clusters in stainless steel. The Muscat Rouge is a local species of red Muscat in Alsace, coming from grower Luc Faller. Direct press in stainless. The juices were vinified separately due to different ripening times / arrivals; once both lots are fermented fully dry, they're blended for aging. Aging in fiberglass and stainless steel tank. Unfined, unfiltered.
