Vinification: Semi-carbonic in large concrete tanks. No sulfur added. Elevage: 6 months in 80% used foudres and 20% used barrels (ranging from 14 to 42 hl in size). Approx annual production: 330 cs. Brilliant ruby-red. High-pitched red berry and spicecake aromas show very good clarity and pick up a subtle mineral overtone as the wine opens up. Juicy and lithe in style, offering juicy raspberry and bitter cherry flavors and a touch of candied violet. In a silky, open-knit style, finishing clean and bright and with a touch of earthiness and sneaky, fine-grained tannins.
