 “Les Vins Pirouettes” is a collective project launched by Christian Binner, the renowned Alsatian winemaker who’s been making legendary zero-zero wines for more than 20 years. Saddened by the sight of organic and biodynamic grapes being sold for little to cooperatives, Christian decided to encourage these growers to make wine under their proper name instead, promoting the idea of soulful terroir wines made with zero nonsense both in the vineyard and the cellar. This is the pinnacle orange wine for us. The stalwart, the tried and true.  We carry it vintage after vintage and it is always on point.  A once a year release, we snatch up a bunch and ride the wave with everyone.  Pinot Gris, Riesling, Sylvaner, with an extended contact on the skins give this on unreal, glowing copper orange color.  It's so juicy and delicious, with structure and tannin-- theres just no denying it and we cant put it down.  So good on its own but such an amazing accompaniment to food.
