DuPuis Wines, Pinot Noir Elswick Vineyard Anderson Valley 2020 750ml

Perched on a gravelly bench directly on the Navarro River, this 25 year old vineyard was planted by Donald Green for his grandson Micheal Green. Michael assumed full ownership of the vineyard in 2019 and renamed it Elswick after the street his grandfather was raised on in Liverpool England. The terroir of this site produces a wine with great depth and concentration with sound acidity to balance the darker fruit profile. This is the richest of our 2020 offerings topping out at 13.5% Alc but is by no means a cumbersome heavy wine. The pure vibrant core of fruit is elevated by the great acidity this valley consistently reveals in the best vintages. 13.5% alc.
